BATMAN FRANCHISE IS GOING TO BE REBOOTED AFTER 3RD FILM?!

While I may not agree with Marvel's decision to keep rebooting X-Men forever and ever, at least Fox is doing it because their license will run out if they don't keep making films. Warner Brothers owns DC Comics! The license will not run out! Why do it?! Especially when there are so many DC heroes that still have not been developed into films. And especially since Nolan's Batman films are some of the best comic book adaptations!

I can't think of any good reason, not even money. Unless they want to recast Bruce, which they could do without rebooting. :(

He further revealed that current director Christopher Nolan will produce the reboot alongside wife Emma Thomas.
I kept reading 'reboot' as bootleg. >_>
and how freaking weird that they have the director-turned-producer for the boo- I mean reboot.. makes no sense to me.

It really doesn't. They might be trying to make it in the same universe as the new Superman film, or even trying to make it in the same universe as the new Justice League film. It's still very stupid.
