WTF?! I've had the jingle from Nagase's UFO CM stuck in my head all day long!

Sakurai's new haircut is too much for me to handle! XD

The new B'z song for Yamapi's new drama is rocking, I love it already. It'll be a long while before I watch it, lol. I'm just finishing up Kekkon Dekinai Otoko, loving it! Why do I always relate to the 40-something characters on J-Dramas instead of girls my own age? XD I'm pretty sure Hotaru was the only exception! Apart from the cleanliness thing, she was my J-Drama twin!

Curse you once again, time difference. I'm on LJ during the day, f-list updates maybe once or twice. I wake up in the morning and I gotta go back like 50 entries! Yes, including communities, but still! XD Thus, I've been trying to catch up.

Also, finished Brother Beat! Very nice family drama, not what I'd call OMG YOU NEED TO WATCH THIS NOW but nice if you're in the mood for cuteness. The story of three brothers who lost their father and are brought up by their mother. Except their mother, while not evil, is kinda lazy. XD She's good at pep talks and things, but she can't really cook and hates cleaning, so the brothers have kind of raised themselves. They even call her by her first name, since she's more of a sibling than mother to them. There were quite a few familiar faces in this show (Hermes' brother from Densha, and Hiro's best mate from H2) but I'd never seen the eldest brother (Tamayama Tetsuji) before. In the words of Akira "Yes, fall in love!" XD He was such an adorable dork! A very tall and handsome adorable dork, hehehe. And his name is Sakurai! Just like the other handsome adorable dork!

Anyway, it was just the kind of sweetness I needed after being emotionally beat up by the Manpyou clan. Oy, what a drama! Speaking of Sho, anyone seen the News Zero report yet? I'm not sure when it comes on, but I wanna see Sho's reaction to all the fangirling in NY!

People are getting ruder on public transport. I think it's the weather. People aren't usually this bastich-y when it's summer. I'm not usually this angry! XD The underground just does something to me! All I'm saying is, some people need a little manners-please-smack-upside-the-head.

Lastly, this guy at my work, so what I imagine Peter Parker to be like when he becomes a middle aged man. You know. If they ever let him get past thirty. XD He's this sweet old guy who loves his wife and kid and has no problem talking about them all the time, and making dorky old man jokes. And then he's all "I need to take some of my holiday this week, my wife (who's a teacher) and my daughter are off for half term, so I wanna spend some time with them". And we all went awwwwww! Of course then he reminded me of Pete and I got all sad cos Peter's not married anymore and......yeah, let's just stop that rant right there! XD

Now! Off to make some icons!

:O USOOOO!

New York Comic Con is gonna be stormed by Sakurai fans! XD Damn you, Atlantic Ocean. And work. I wish I could goooo!

I'm thinking of marathoning Karei-Naru Ichizoku (I probably haven't spelled that right) this weekend, but I've heard that it's emotionally engrossing, so I'm not sure if that's the best thing to watch before I go back to work. XD

I'll have to have some HanaKimi or Full House on stand by.

He's a sneaky one, that Sakurai Sho.

I was completely Jun-baited to Arashi, but before I knew it, I realised today that Sho's my favourite Arashi member. Maybe it's cos no matter how dorkish he acts, he's still adorable. Or maybe it's cos he's an intellectual baka. Or maybe it's cos he's so used to being dorky that he doesn't even get embarrassed anymore. It might have something to with the infamous Tony and James...but it's mostly that he's an adorable dork. That, and I haven't watched Jun in any dramas lately, haha. But yeah, as it stands Sho is my favourite.

Maru's still my favourite in Kanjani8, but Yoko and Hina are not too far behind.

Complete randomness, yes, but today is boring! XD

OOH! Also, it seems that Yamapi's gonna be on VS Arashi in the new year! YES! I've never seen Yamapi and Arashi communicate that much, so it'll be fun!

I finally finished the Korean drama, Full House! I really need to stop watching more than 2 dramas at once, it's taking me ages to finish them! XD

I gotta say, I loved it a lot. It did start to drag a bit in the last four episodes, but I guess they had to fill the sixteen episode production order. But of course, if they had stopped four episodes short, we would've lost some really hilarious Young Jae moments. I don't know about you, but I love it when tall guys act stupid and dorky. It's so funny.

Okay, so the plot, courtesy of DramaWiki: Han Ji Eun is a naive writer who got swindled out of everything she owned including her house by her best friends. Stranded in China, She managed to borrow money from an actor Lee Young Jae to return to Korea. On her return, she found out that her house was bought by Lee Young Jae. In an attempt to get her possessions back, she entered in a contract marriage with Young Jae for one year. In spite of losing all, Ji Eun manages to be cheerful and takes things in strike and the business relationship between the two becomes personal as they start to rely and care for each other.

May I just say, Ji Eun is too nice of a person. Seriously. If my friends did that to me, I'd have shopped them to the police, no problem. Although, if Asian dramas have taught me anything, it's that I seem to not be a very forgiving person! XD (See Kurosagi, Love Revolution, Nobuta wo Produce...and a few more I can't remember now) Her friends were also SO DAMN ANNOYING! I could stand Dong Wook in small doses, but OMG I could strangle Hee Jin half the time! She didn't even feel guilty!

I'ma put the rest behind a cut, cos it contains spoilers and much ranting as usual. )

In short, I did like it and will probably watch it again! I am quite surprised, given that this show was such a ratings killer in Korea, that they haven't tried to make a Japanese version yet. There are remakes of K-Dramas and J-Dramas all over the place these days (with the Korean version of HYD having just being cast!). I can't think of anyone except Nagase Tomoya for Young Jae. XD

Also, I've been catching up on Bones. I MISS ZACK! ;_; Sweets is funny, but in small doses, but in no way does he replace Zack. AND WHY ANGELA AND HODGINS!? ;_; Not fair, not fair at all. I still love Seeley Booth, and he gets more awesome with each episode. "You can't date two guys at the same time Bones, it's not right. It's why they invented duelling." Heehee. He's adorkable, yet manly.

I've been trying to find a new cartoon to fill the Avatar void. *ala Fairly Odd Parents* NOTHING FILLS THE VOID! T_T I have been watching quite a bit of Phineas and Ferb, and it's actually quite funny! Very tongue in cheek. Anyone got any ideas on when Spectacular Spider-Man season 2 is gonna start up? Oh, and if you haven't watched Spectacular Spider-Man yet, GO DO IT NOW. Seriously. I'll wait. ^_^

Also, Sakurai Sho's new haircut? Hawtsome.
