I finally finished the Korean drama, Full House! I really need to stop watching more than 2 dramas at once, it's taking me ages to finish them! XD
I gotta say, I loved it a lot. It did start to drag a bit in the last four episodes, but I guess they had to fill the sixteen episode production order. But of course, if they had stopped four episodes short, we would've lost some really hilarious Young Jae moments. I don't know about you, but I love it when tall guys act stupid and dorky. It's so funny.
Okay, so the plot, courtesy of DramaWiki:
Han Ji Eun is a naive writer who got swindled out of everything she owned including her house by her best friends. Stranded in China, She managed to borrow money from an actor Lee Young Jae to return to Korea. On her return, she found out that her house was bought by Lee Young Jae. In an attempt to get her possessions back, she entered in a contract marriage with Young Jae for one year. In spite of losing all, Ji Eun manages to be cheerful and takes things in strike and the business relationship between the two becomes personal as they start to rely and care for each other.May I just say, Ji Eun is too nice of a person. Seriously. If my friends did that to me, I'd have shopped them to the police, no problem. Although, if Asian dramas have taught me anything, it's that I seem to not be a very forgiving person! XD (See Kurosagi, Love Revolution, Nobuta wo Produce...and a few more I can't remember now) Her friends were also SO DAMN ANNOYING! I could stand Dong Wook in small doses, but OMG I could strangle Hee Jin half the time! She didn't even feel guilty!
( I'ma put the rest behind a cut, cos it contains spoilers and much ranting as usual. )In short, I did like it and will probably watch it again! I am quite surprised, given that this show was such a ratings killer in Korea, that they haven't tried to make a Japanese version yet. There are remakes of K-Dramas and J-Dramas all over the place these days
(with the Korean version of HYD having just being cast!). I can't think of anyone except Nagase Tomoya for Young Jae. XD
Also, I've been catching up on Bones. I MISS ZACK! ;_; Sweets is funny, but in small doses, but in no way does he replace Zack. AND WHY ANGELA AND HODGINS!? ;_; Not fair, not fair at all. I still love Seeley Booth, and he gets more awesome with each episode. "You can't date two guys at the same time Bones, it's not right. It's why they invented duelling." Heehee. He's adorkable, yet manly.
I've been trying to find a new cartoon to fill the Avatar void. *ala Fairly Odd Parents* NOTHING FILLS THE VOID! T_T I have been watching quite a bit of Phineas and Ferb, and it's actually quite funny! Very tongue in cheek. Anyone got any ideas on when Spectacular Spider-Man season 2 is gonna start up? Oh, and if you haven't watched Spectacular Spider-Man yet,
GO DO IT NOW. Seriously. I'll wait. ^_^
Also, Sakurai Sho's new haircut? Hawtsome.
