I mainly watched this film cos I haven't seen anything with Gong Yoo since Coffee Prince. I was pleasantly surprised! :D It was a really cute movie, even though the title comes across as corny. Gong Yoo was perfect, he was playing a slightly nerdy character (I won't spoil it, but he has merchandise from one of my favourite fandoms in his house and his office, I literally squeed XD), which was a nice change. He was hilarious, he made me laugh out loud so many times. His brother in law was jokes as well. I really liked the female lead too, she was really cute and easy to relate to. I'm not really a fan of rom-coms these days, but this one was nice.

I hope he does more stuff soon! :D

It's all up on YouTube! :D Just type in Finding Mr Destiny, there's an English subbed version, should be 11 parts. It was really cute! I think as long as the characters are likeable, I wouldn't mind watching more rom-coms. But lately they've all had obnoxious characters in them or uncharismatic lead actors/actresses. XD

Word on your critique of rom-coms. 27 Dresses has been the only bearable one lately although I have to see Bridesmaids considering my life is devolving into one wedding after another.

I think the last one I enjoyed was Miss Pettigrew and thats cos Lee Pace and Amy Adams were so sweet! You can't really be original with this genre anymore, so the characters have got to work. If you leave thinking, why do they even like each other, then it's missed the whole point. XD

I've heard Bridesmaids is really funny, but I'll have to wait til dvd. :( I was like that a couple of years back! Everyone was getting married. There's a lull at the mo, but I expect it to pick up again next year!
