I'm making some ROOKIES and Boy Meets World icons at the mo and I have no space for them! XD Some VB may have to go until the new season starts (CANNOT WAIT!). And no, I can't rid of the 6ish Jensen icons I have cos he's hot so there. :P

So rumour has it that David Tennant is in the running to play Bruce Banner/The Hulk in the Avengers movie cos Edward Norton isn't Hulk anymore. Thoughts? http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/movies/news/a243761/david-tennant-rumoured-for-hulk-role.html

The footballer picspam is now not happening cos I can't find decent enough pics, sorry all!

Dudes. I realise it's hot, and everyone is sweaty, but unless you're gonna put on some good deodrant, DON'T STICK YOUR ARMPIT IN MY FACE WHEN I CAN'T RUN AWAY FROM YOU!! I'm pretty sure my nostrils are burnt. T_T

You're Beautiful is still cute and awesome, although now the hate for UEE's character begins!! I watched Love Shuffle too, it was okay. I only really enjoyed DAIGO, O-Chan and Kairi. Usa was cute, but his whole foreign girls are easy implications in that episode made me uncomfortable to say the least!

Scott Pilgrim got pushed back to late August over here (DAMMIT) so I might end up missing it now. Sigh. :( I'm excited for Toy Story 3 though!

Excuse any spelling/grammar mistakes, I'm typing this lying down!

I've heard Mark Ruffalo was testing for the role as well, so it's not really concrete at the moment. I definitely want to see David in more stuff, he's awesome. If he was in the Avengers movie however, my brain would explode from all the hotness in this cast. *fans self in advance*

Yeaaaaah, most of these superhero flicks are passing me by. I never was too into American comic books and I find a great deal of the characters annoying and/or bland. Including the Hulk. But David would bring my butt to those seats faster than ice melts on a hot day.

And your icon! Want, want, want it so bad. But I only have 6 icons and I don't know what I'd do away with. ::pouts::

Some are good! I will say that the awesome characters are never featured enough though. (Or they kill them off. ;_;) Hulk was never one I was interested in, I've never seen either of his movies. He just seems so boring. XD I am getting sick and tired of Emma Frost and Cyclops though, so seeing that they're going to be in the new X-Men movie is seriously putting me off.

Haha, I loved him in that skit! XD He's so funny.

I am alllll about Rogue and Gambit but I do not like Anna Paquin. At. All. I really just love my silly teenage X-men Evolution mutants and I don't care that it's "not as good as the original cartoon." But Spidey, Superman, white!Green Lantern (animated Justice League, y'all), and the Fantasic Four, eeeeeeeh. Characters I do like, Hellboy and Iron Man, I had no opinion on before their films. Coincidence?

I finally watched Catherine Tate's X-mas special a couple of weeks ago (Tate and Tennant withdrawal is bad, kids). But he didn't come back for the final scene! ::pouts moar::

Same here! I enjoyed the X-Men movies to an extent (that extent being Wolverine, Magneto and the glimpse of Nightcrawler we got) but it definitely was missing stuff. All the movies were missing stuff. With Marvel, I think it's cos Marvel isn't making them, other movie studios are so they always go for demographic over fanbase. That's why Iron Man was so good, cos Marvel was making it 100%. I liked the Spidey movies, but again, it was missing something. Peter's humour, MJ's badassness. JJ was spot on though! XD Fantastic Four, I will admit I only enjoyed cos Ben and Johnny were awesome and they're two of my faves so I was biased. Superman, I rarely ever like! XD

I'm with you. I don't really mind if the animated versions of comics differ, as long as they're enjoyable and true to the characters. X-Men Evo definitely was, and it gets points for actually making me like Cyclops! I'm hoping the new Spidey movies are like the Spectacular Spider-Man series, cos that was beyond brilliant. I wish they'd had John Stewart Green Lantern instead of Hal Jordan Green Lantern. I think Ryan Reynolds will do a great job, but "normal" people definitely know John more than Hal. DC's been having a problem whitewashing several of their characters lately though.

;_; I can't tell you how much I'm feeling the Doctor-Donna withdrawl watching the new series! They spoiled me, Amy's not as awesome as Donna! XD That skit cracked me up! Especially when he was flailing over that guy from Saturday Kitchen!

I grew up reading the newspaper Spiderman comic and MJ was never cool in that. She's always been an annoying bitch who needs to get out there and make it on her own -- without Spidey, IMHO. They are holding each other back. LOL. Mostly the Marvel comics have been lacking in the script department I think. They are not tight or emotional enough to be really compelling.

As for Doc Who, I am really enjoying Karen surprisingly, and I LOVED that the writers made me really "meh" about Rory at first and then made me sob like a baby when he died. Although I knew he'd be back because the camera had lingered so long on the ring as that episode closed. Thank goodness that prediction came true.

Now how much longer do I have to wait for a Neil Gaiman episode? I think his gothic horror would really work with this season's ethos.

I've always read comics with MJ as probably the only superhero wife who didn't nag him about going out doing superhero stuff instead of going on a date with her or something. She was always supporting him, but still went ahead with her career. Although that did depend on who was writing her at the time. XD I think over time comics have stopped appealing to everyone and have just started appealing to males 18-30, which is sad. Everything's all angsty and everyone's a buttmunch for no reason. All the decent characters get bastardised or killed off, which infuriates me! I went from reading about 20 comics a month to reading 4 cos of this! /nerdrage

There are some really good one-shot graphic novels though. I especially loved the Spider-Man/Human Torch mini, so much fun!

I don't mind Karen as such, but I think it might be a "just me" type of thing that I don't like Amy. There's nothing wrong with her character, but I don't really feel anything for her. Haha, I was the opposite, I liked Rory from the beginning. XD Doctor Who will start again in April, so probably around May? I'm quite excited for Merlin at the moment, although that's coming back in September.

Damn, internet crashed. Anyway, I admit, that is hilarious. Although the boxes underneath make me think of this:

So Doctor Who starts in Britain in April? Because I am not waiting. I may just wind up on your couch in London, kay?

Lol! That video's so random. XD Another one I love is this:

Yeah, it usually starts around April for 13 eps, then the other tea time family series comes on (used to be Robin Hood, now it's Merlin) and then we get a Christmas special to tide us over until April again. Last year was awful, we only had those every public holiday specials so we missed out on a whole series of the Doctor!
