They assembled. It was awesome.

I saw The Avengers today.

It was so brilliant, I can't even put it into words. And I won't. If you're going to see this film, avoid all spoilers, synopsis', sneak previews, EVERYTHING. Apart from some knowledge of the prior films. I enjoyed it so much cos I didn't know what was going to happen. I'm not even gonna post properly about it cos I don't want to spoil you in anyway. I can, however, express my feelings in gif form. This one sums up my feelings pretty perfectly.

WARNING: There are a lot. I had many feelings. XD

I have to see it again! I must! It's just...best superhero movie ever. EVER!! It makes me wish Marvel had the rights to all their superheroes cos damn, this was just so brilliant. And Joss Whedon, I thank you sir. If there is an Avengers 2, please come and do it.

I'll post in detail in about a month or so, when everyone should hopefully have had the chance to see it. ^_^

You almost put me in a terrible position -- avoid spoilers or see gifs. Thank you for your restraint! ^__^ And the GD one? It sums up so much of my liiiiiiiiiiiiiife.

I really want to see it but I don't know if I will be able to this weekend. I told you my mother is nuts for Tennant? Well his Pirates!Darwin! movie is out here this weekend. Don't know if my mother is going to drag me to the cinema....

Lol, you're very welcome! The first thing I thought while watching it was "I'm so glad I knew next to nothing about this film" so I didn't want to spoil it for anyone else!

You'll be okay to see the Pirates film cos Avengers is out in the States next weekend! I'm not sure why we got it a week early! It was seriously soooo good! People don't usually clap, cheer or laugh out loud in the cinemas I've been too (I only experienced that when I watched a film in Canada) but this one, people were so lively! It was weird but fun!

I wanted to see that Pirates film, but I'll have to wait til DVD. It looks good, I love Aardman stuff. I must admit, I got Tennant-baited with that film too!

Oh man, seeing HG at 3 am (the midnight premiere was sold out) was HIL-AR-IOUS. We were clearly all sleep deprived and a bit punch drunk. The parts when they had cuts back to stony-faced!Gale were downright hilarious in that context. When I saw it again, I was the only person laughing at that part. Whoops!

[identity profile] gabenut.livejournal.com 2012-04-27 09:08 am (UTC)(link)
I don't think we have midnight premiere screenings of films, although Harry Potter may have had one. Haha, there are certain parts in LOTR that always make me laugh now even though they're not supposed to.

THEY'RE TAKING THE HOBBITS TO ISENGARD!

[identity profile] gabenut.livejournal.com 2012-04-27 04:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Lol, exactly! XD There's also this one part in FOTR where the Hobbits are asking Aragorn what the ring wraiths are and just as he turns to face them, one of the ring wraiths screams. It always cracks me up!

Oh I hadn't noticed that -- but now it's definitely going to get me to crack up every time. So many double entendres.

I'm off to see the Avengers tomorrow. Yay, me! :D

[identity profile] gabenut.livejournal.com 2012-04-27 09:09 am (UTC)(link)
Yay! You will love it so much. And might be tempted to double back and see the next screening.

[identity profile] iamrman82.livejournal.com 2012-04-27 09:51 am (UTC)(link)
Wow. It must be good in that case. :D

It was! I was tempted to go back myself but the next screening was full. My screening was pretty full as well, which was weird cos it was in the morning! It's probably going to end up being my favourite superhero film ever. It's definitely my favourite Marvel film.
