So, putting Yamapi's guest spot on Oguri Shun's All Night Nippon on my mp3 player was a mistake for the following reasons.
1) Oguri was being all goofy, at one point even saying that he wanted to be a tour conductor in Hawaii so he could go ALOHA!
2) Yamapi laughed. A lot. I don't think I've ever heard him laugh, it was very cute! There's no confirmation, but I'm pretty sure I looked like this. Which on public transport, not a very good idea.
3) Both Oguri and Yamapi have very nice sounding voices. I'm lucky I didn't miss my stop! *dreamy sigh*
4) Their conversation was very funny, and I kept giggling. See #2 for why this is not a good thing.
I was, however, very surprised at how much of the conversation I understood! Yay me!
I usually only ever squee in text, rarely ever out loud (usually the Pie Maker or Maru make me do that) but this was really funny and cute.
It's nice to see Yamapi so hyper, it's a rare sight! XD And I love that comedian, he's part of Hannya I think? I saw them on an Arashi TV show and they were so funny.
WTF?! I've had the jingle from Nagase's UFO CM stuck in my head all day long!
Sakurai's new haircut is too much for me to handle! XD
The new B'z song for Yamapi's new drama is rocking, I love it already. It'll be a long while before I watch it, lol. I'm just finishing up Kekkon Dekinai Otoko, loving it! Why do I always relate to the 40-something characters on J-Dramas instead of girls my own age? XD I'm pretty sure Hotaru was the only exception! Apart from the cleanliness thing, she was my J-Drama twin!
The problem with having my music player on shuffle is that random songs I haven't listened to in years comes on once in a while and I get all nostalgic.
Case in point: Aoi Hitomi from Escaflowne comes on and now I wanna watch the show. Again. I've seen this anime I'm pretty sure over 15 times, I should be bored of it by now! XD I enjoyed Cowboy Bebop and Trigun just as much, only a few years after I watched Esca, yet I've only watched those once!
Random Arashi amusement: Ohno's big and small goals for 2009 both involve fishing. Oh Riida. XD
Also, Toma on 5LDK has to be the funniest thing I've seen in ages. I love TOKIO. I want Yamapi to go on 5LDK so they can embarrass him too!
Man, I haven't been this tired in a long time! -_-;;
I've had Hey!Say!Jump's Midnight Shadow Boy stuck in my head all day! Randomly going around saying Cherry all day, haha.
I'm so excited for Maru's new drama, he looks super cute. I don't know if I'll get to watch it any time soon though! :(
This weekend: Orange Days and the Kurosagi movie. WILL I BE ABLE TO HANDLE THE COMBINED HOTNESS OF YAMAPI AND TSUMABUKI SATOSHI!?!? XD
Yes, random entry, sorry. I'm running on empty here tonight. I need a day off! T_T
Having watched random bits of Nobuta wo Produce again, I'd like to ask Yamashita Tomohisa to please do a funny drama next, as he is maximum cute when he's being all goofy.
Failing that, please star in a drama alongside Ikuta Toma. The adorable hotness may actually knock most of the fandom unconscious, but I'm willing to risk it.
Also, little freaky? I posted my New Year Wishes here in November and they've all come true! :O
Toma's getting a drama, MARU'S GETTING A DRAMA!!!! and....well, Shirtless Peter in Heroes is kind of a given.
He's a sneaky one, that Sakurai Sho.
I was completely Jun-baited to Arashi, but before I knew it, I realised today that Sho's my favourite Arashi member. Maybe it's cos no matter how dorkish he acts, he's still adorable. Or maybe it's cos he's an intellectual baka. Or maybe it's cos he's so used to being dorky that he doesn't even get embarrassed anymore. It might have something to with the infamous Tony and James...but it's mostly that he's an adorable dork. That, and I haven't watched Jun in any dramas lately, haha. But yeah, as it stands Sho is my favourite.
Maru's still my favourite in Kanjani8, but Yoko and Hina are not too far behind.
Complete randomness, yes, but today is boring! XD
OOH! Also, it seems that Yamapi's gonna be on VS Arashi in the new year! YES! I've never seen Yamapi and Arashi communicate that much, so it'll be fun!
Without even going to look for them, things keep making me nostalgic!
First, I watched Meet the Robinsons the other day and they had this scene with a joke reference to Back to the Future. So of course, I went and watched Back to the Future and got all nostalgic and remembered how much I heart Marty McFly.
Then, a piece of music from the Escaflowne soundtrack pops up on my shuffle list and I'm all ";_; I wanna watch the series again!" but I've already watched it more times than is healthy (which is evident by my picturing younger Yamapi as Van Fanel earlier). Remembering Esca also reminded me that I've been watching anime for about 10 years now, and that makes me feel much old!
In short, I have been fangirling for too many years now! And I'm in the mood to re-watch Rurouni Kenshin. Cos Hiko Seijuro is badass.
Also: IT'S SOOOOO HOT TODAY! ;_;
I don't know why, but in a random thought today, I thought "You know, if he was a bit younger, Yamapi might make a good Van Fanel".
DON'T ASK ME WHY, I HAVE NO REASON FOR IT.
They should never make an Escaflowne live action anyways. Too many complications. And it'd have to be a drama. We all saw what happened when they tried to make it into an animated movie...
And I loved it! ;_;
But I am so glad I waited until the special was out! This is definitely gonna be one of my favourite dramas. Made me laugh, made me cry, made me scream MAJI DE?! and it had a lovely cast of characters. As much as I loved and rooted for Yamapi's character Ken, Tsuru was definitely my favourite!
I've been watching Remote as well (one episode left!) and it's very good! I wanted to watch a drama with Domoto Koichi in it, and I've enjoyed it a lot. Tamaki Hiroshi's in it too, he's so funny! XD
But I promise, any and all spoilers will be blacked out. ^_^ Or LJ-cut, whichever seems appropriate.
I have almost no idea what is going on with comics these days. With work taking up all my time (FREEDOM, COME BAAAAACK), I don't have time to browse through comic sites to see what's going on in comics I don't read. There's something going on in DC that I'm not really aware of. Is Kyle evil these days? There's another crisis? It doesn't help that I'm only reading three DC books on a regular basis (Detective Comics, Nightwing and Teen Titans). Even if I was buying all the books, I still wouldn't know what was happening in Marvel. Something to do with Skrulls and such. I'm not sure if Thor or Hulk have shown up to kick Tony Stark's ass yet. All I know is that no matter how hard I wish, Spidey's not gonna go back to how he used to be. Ultimate Spidey is all kinds of awesome though. ^_^
In regards to TV shows, with the shorter seasons this year, most of the shows I watch are starting to wrap up now. (UK is always insanely behind) Bones season finale. WTF?! Zack! ;_; I love Zack, why?! Why do the characters I love always leave? He's just so adorable, I felt so sorry for him. Now he gotta live in the nuthouse. :( And that stunt with Booth. Okay, I knew he wasn't dead. But I did the same thing with Veronica from Prison Break for weeks before I accepted she died. XD That said, Booth, please never stop being hawtsome. And Hodgins better stop being so cute, I can't afford to have yet another TV crush. It's gonna go into triple digits! Lost is also wrapping for us next Sunday, it's probably already aired in the US though. I really hope that nothing sinister happens to Jin and Desmond. I love them both. And I have a track record, bad things always happen to characters I like. Which is very annoying, as characters I hate never seem to disappear. EVER. Lana is still on Smallville dammit! And Michael Rosenbaum has left! YOU MUST BE JOKING IF YOU THINK I'M STILL WATCHING! .... Okay, I'll watch if Ollie comes back, haha.
( Now for talk about JE and J-Dramas! )
As for anime, I've rewatched Escaflowne for the millionth time (and still get mad at the ending!), I've also watched Cromartie High School (CRACK!), Azumanga Daioh (Osaka and Yukari for the win) and am in the middle of rewatching School Rumble. Oh Harima, I feel for ya man. He is the definition of misunderstood. I'm probably gonna start watching Ouran Host Club again, as I'm missing Tamaki. XD I was thinking of watching Fullmetal Alchemist but I don't think I can go through all the heartbreak again. That show broke me, and now I cry at everything dammit.
Season 2 of Avatar was on earlier today, and dammit, IROH! ;_; He was cracking wise and talking about tea and being all awesome and I was like IROH! COME BAAAAACK!
I made way too many this time! Hahha....

*sigh* I have now caught up with almost everything Internet related and can now post! Yay!
Which means I've watched Avatar, hahaha. IT WAS GOOD! :D But more on that a little bit later.
I never knew how much I relied on my computer. It's kinda bad! XD Mostly it's just for watching stuff, and squeeing with people who understand exactly what it is I'm squeeing about but I missed you guys! I couldn't watch One Piece for ages (I missed the Mugiwaras!) and the J-Drama I was in the middle of watching had to be put on hold. Luckily, it wasn't a cliffhanger style one (like Long Vacation and HYD) so I was okay not to watch it for a while. But I have such a darn backlog of J-Dramas, I'm never gonna get a chance to watch the newer ones! Like Bambino and HanaKimi (Oguri AND Toma, the show is already winning). I really did miss Arashi though. Those guys are so nuts. I missed the craziness!
It was also lucky that I'm at work most of the day, and don't get to use the computer as much as I used to anyways. If it was last year, and I was at home without the computer for three weeks, I think I would've gone insane! XD But it's back now, all my stuff is here, and it's all good.
( Random things that happened while I was away! )
I FOUND THE MOTHERLOAD IN THE WEST END!
( Pics of MatsuJun! In my hands! Instead of on the computer! )
Now. Time to discuss Avatar. Note: I haven't seen the episode that aired last night (The Beach one), I will be watching it tonight and squeeing tomorrow about it.
( My boy is back! And he's gonna kick some ass! :D )
Anyhoo, with the computer back now, I shall be making icons again. Yay! :D Probably a big icon post!
Sorry it was so long!
I don't even do anything at work except sit and office things. Yet I feel so damn tired. NANDE?! *sigh*
Anyhoo, for the Avatar fans reading this, Comic-Con is this weekend, so AVATAR NEWS YAY! :D The airdate for America is the 21st September at 8pm. But feel free to find out and correct me, cos I'm so tired and I'm abot 80% sure that's right. Even though it's still further away than I'd like YAY AVATAR! :D There's tons of spoilery images around the internets, including this one found at Avatar Spirit. With all the spoilery images though, there's a certain someone missing. In all of them. And I am cross. ¬_¬
So, I've been watching Kurosagi starring Yamapi from NewS. Now, I always thought he was kinda cute but never got what the big deal was. I get it now. DAYUM. Dude's hot. It might be the black hair (why did you dye it back, why!?), the general random English words he says in the show or just the many outfit changes, but dude's a hottie. I'm still mostly besotted with Inohara from V6 at the moment, but Yamapi's hot. Hot. Once more, HOT! His performance of the theme song, Daite Senorita. What I love most about this clip is that every single time he shakes his hips, the girls scream! XD It's nice to see, but every time! It's so funny!
Also, recent episode of One Piece I watched (316 I think?), one of my most favourite characters came back and was so damn badass. This character also tied into a plot regarding another one of my favourite characters, which has me all OH NOES WHAT'S HAPPENING?! which manga readers probably already know all about, but I likes to see my One Piece animated so I'm gonna be behind for a while. Man, I love those episodes of One Piece. The ones at the end of a story arc, which set up the next story arc, drop some hints about the overall story, and let you in on what the other characters apart from our beloved Mugiwaras are up to. I friggin love this show! ^_^
This one is purely for silverladys9sf but other fans of Hanazawa Rui AKA Oguri Shun can enjoy as well.
And a little Inohara to finish off the post:
[MatsuJun is carefully helpiing himself to some Omuraisu]
Inohara: MatsuJun is kind of conscientious, ne.
Sakurai: He's popular.
Inohara: He's definitely got to be popular. That's popular.
Ogura: Doumyouji wouldn't do this kind of thing, right?
MatsuJun: He wouldn't, yeah. :)
Inohara: He wouldn't do it huh, Doumyouji-san. He wouldn't. My mother loves him.
[audience and MatsuJun laugh]
Ogura: Doumyouji's cool, isn't he?
Inohara: You know what she said? "It took me back to when I was young!"
When he said that last part, the face he made...I died of laughter. I love this man.
Have a nice weekend dudes!
