I'm probably late on the uptake, but I came across all these click and drag game things on tumblr. You click and drag the image and it picks a character for each category. This seems like something I would've got so addicted to back when I was in school. Any excuse not to do homework. XD

Anyhoo, there's an Avatar one here, also including characters from Korra! Have a go! I got...

Your Best Friend: Sokka
Your Enemy: Toph (Awwww!)
Has a Crush On You: Ozai
Your First Kiss: Bolin
Your True Love: Ozai (Oh dear)
Your Bending: Water

Yes. I'm aware I'm too old for this sort of thing. But it's 1am and I can't fall asleep! XD (And I just found one for Hey Arnold, oh dear)

Arnav shaved his stubble! ;_; No!

But today's episode is supposed to be hilarious/sweet.

Good idea: Watching funny clips on YouTube before going to work to start the day cheerful.

Bad idea: Watching Pushing Daisies clips on YouTube before going to work, as Lee Pace renders your brain out of order and you end the day right there.

The end.

The kid next door was trying to annoy her dad, but he kept ignoring her, and she kept yelling DAD! DAD! DAD! over and over and it reminded me of this:

...K, bye.

So at work today, this lady started laughing. She was eating a bag of mixed nuts, and read out the ingredients. Peanuts, cashew, brazil, etc. Allergy warning: MAY CONTAIN TRACES OF NUTS.

I was in a deep sleep, right? Suddenly, I hear I'VE HAD...THE TIME OF MY LIIIIIIFE! bustin' out from somewhere and I'm like this:

A little while later, I realised its cos my neighbour was watching Dirty Dancing. In the middle of the night.

I was kinda annoyed. Mostly because, and I'm not entirely sure, but I think I was having a very pleasant dream about Bradley James...

So, this happened at work today:

Therefore, I automatically thought of this:

Which lead to me randomly giggling all day.

My Star Trek DVD came today! :D

I've been listening to Queen most of the day and now I wanna re-watch Pride.

XD They just had a segment on BBC news about people crying in movies, cos of (apparently) the amount of people who were surprised that they cried during Up!

Seeley Booth, stop being so bloody adorable! ;_; He's such a good dad, bless him! (In short, the new episode of Bones was good)

I've watched the first two episodes of Being Erica, they've started showing it over here, and Eric from Wonderfalls is in it!! Haven't seen him in anything for a while, he looks pretty much the same, just a little older. Sigh. I miss Wonderfalls! And on a Fullerverse related note, I've got about 4 episodes left of Pushing Daisies! ;_; I'm gonna need something extremely funny to watch after I watch that last episode so I'm not all WHY DAMMIT WHY when it ends.

I've started watching another Korean drama, this time it's My Girl. Yes, I know, I'm very behind but it's only my third one! The main girl is awesome! It's three for three so far on me liking the female leads! But also three for three on loathing the bitchassness that is the "other" girl. Anyhoo, Joo Yoo Rin is awesome and her karaoke scene was epic funny. XD I also finished Odoru Daisousasen. Best cop J-Drama I've seen so far! It was fun from start to finish, I can't wait to watch the movies.

This has been stuck in my head all day! Does anyone remember this cartoon? This and Jem were my Saturday shows once upon a time! Galaxy High too I think...

EDIT: Lastly, these will never not be funny. :)

Nice to see things haven't changed that much since I was a youth! XD These two uni students were saying goodbye to each other at the bus stop, but it was such an elongated goodbye and there were hugs and so on and lots of "respect"s and "safe"s being dropped into the convo. Then one gets on the bus and he's all "see you tomorrow bruv!"

I literally wanted to burst out laughing! Guys were like this when I was in uni as well, such epic goodbyes but they'd probably see each other the next day anyway.

Also, random thought I had today that will keep me amused for at least a month: Kanjani8 in One Piece as a musical and/or comedic troupe (I'm not sure that's the right word) pirate crew. I don't think Johnny would mind, since Uchi and Goro already voiced characters in the One Piece movies, and since they're usually out of canon, it'd be funny. Of course it won't ever happen, but the thought of it made me laugh. Hina would hit half the crew within minutes of meeting them and Maru and Luffy doing any sort of shenanigans would be awesome.

This random thought was brought to you by the melting of my brain by Pie Maker, a lack of sleep and sugar and Hugbees. :P
gb23: (Avatar: Honor)

On the bus, I overheard this convo...

Kid 1: Hey, you know [I forget what the kid's name was] in our class? [Forgot the other kid too] said he fancies your sister.
Kid 2: Which one?
Kid 1: The one in year four.
Kid 2: YOU WHAT?! What's he looking at my sister for?! He's in year six, she's a little'un! (Expletive Deleted) perv! I'll beat him up next time I see him!

XD This cracked me up so much! (For reference, kids in year four in the UK are 8 or 9 years old and kids in year six are 10 or 11 years old.) Despite the potty mouth, I thought it was cute that he was so protective of his sister. I hope he didn't really beat the kid up tho!

I don't really watch J-Dramas in any sane order (as you may have noticed, since I still haven't watched a lot of the new ones) but I'm starting to notice that while I love a lot of the recent high school/uni based dramas, I find myself enjoying the dramas with older characters in it a lot more. Especially the ones from about 2004 prior. Maybe cos I'm not a teen anymore, I'm getting more impatient with the whole OMG JUST TELL HIM/HER ALREADY patterns. Maybe it's cos the casts are getting younger and younger and I feel weird oogling them! XD

That being said, I'm not really interested in watching a lot of the "older people" type dramas that have come out recently. Save for BOSS but that's cos Animal Shinji and Tatsu-nii are in it. :P So maybe I'm just feeling notstalgic for days gone by. I must say, I haven't watched any of it yet, but Buzzer Beat does look like it has that old Long Vacation style feel to it.

Random thoughts brought to you by Odoru Daisousasen rocking my socks off! I haven't enjoyed a cop/legal drama like this since Hero!

Also, I think I may have found my favourite Ghibli movie ever! But more on that later.

So, putting Yamapi's guest spot on Oguri Shun's All Night Nippon on my mp3 player was a mistake for the following reasons.

1) Oguri was being all goofy, at one point even saying that he wanted to be a tour conductor in Hawaii so he could go ALOHA!
2) Yamapi laughed. A lot. I don't think I've ever heard him laugh, it was very cute! There's no confirmation, but I'm pretty sure I looked like this. Which on public transport, not a very good idea.
3) Both Oguri and Yamapi have very nice sounding voices. I'm lucky I didn't miss my stop! *dreamy sigh*
4) Their conversation was very funny, and I kept giggling. See #2 for why this is not a good thing.

I was, however, very surprised at how much of the conversation I understood! Yay me!

I don't usually LOL for real from reading stuff on the internet (unless it's JE fans, they so funny) but this totally got me.

From [ profile] ohnotheydidnt, a post about the Twilight stuff at Comic-Con. Reynolds and her 10-year-old daughter, Rebecca, were there to see the cast of the “Twilight” sequel, “New Moon,” set for release Nov. 20: Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner. Misty Ebert, who just finished reading the book series six months ago, flew in from New York for the occasion.

“Edward is every woman's fantasy,” she said about the chaste vampire character.

A reader's ([ profile] starburstchick) response? If Edward is the standard for a woman's fantasy I resign from being a woman.

My reaction:

XD I apologise in advance if there are any Twilight fans on my f-list!

The rest of the post is here if anyone wants to read more hilarious reactions.

You know, the kind where you weren't expecting it, a character says something really random and totally hilarious and you LOL for real. Some of mine:

"You know how your father gets around people who are on money!"

"F***ing knife!"

"Safety first. Safety first, then teamwork."

"Look at his lap, it's huge. There's, like, five of us on it."

"It's always cold in Siberia."

"Some women love like gangstas. They be like "Ooh baby, you bleedin'! How that happen?" While they hidin' the razor in their weave."

There are a few more I can't remember at the moment though. How about you guys?
gb23: (Avatar: Iroh Wins!)

How do these three kids cope when a (fake) zombie comes to attack their house? XD

So cute, so funny, so awesome. )

For context, the reporter was originally there cos the kids wanted to show him how they had zombie-proofed their house, and how they would fight back. (Apparently they're fans of horror movies) The eldest son is just awesome.

There's no reason for this. Apologies! XD
