TV!

And now, TV stuff!

First, cartoons. )

TV shows I can't take anymore. XD )
And the rest! )

Well people, I think that's everything! Except of course the granddaddy of all squee posts for One Piece. I'm at the flashback episodes now, so yeah, I'm sad and shocked and all the emotions. ;_; ODA!!! Once I've finished the flashback eps (just started them) I'll post incoherently. XD I apologise in advance.

Quick post, with spoilers for Glee, HIMYM, Bones, Chuck, Community and whatever else I remember while writing this. XD

Hopefully Young Justice will be back soon so I can watch that during the summer. :D

[livejournal.com profile] lydzi_de_galles, the LOST post is delayed! XD I'm gonna watch it again, but it'll come soon. With pics! :D

Speaking of Lost, this cracked me up. XD

Bones, Lost, Doctor Who and a new J-Drama! )

Some more videos!

Gina Yashere, cute Oreo advert, Malcolm Tucker loses it and David Tennant loves cake. )

Spoilers for LOST, Bones, and Doctor Who. I'll black out the big spoilers tho. ;)

LOST: You're tacky and I hate you. >:( )

Once again, Bones is my happy place show. )

Eleven! ♥ )

Awwww!

Apr. 9th, 2010 11:14 pm

I just watched Bones! ;_; I didn't even realise I was so emotionally invested in this show. XD

I finally got around to watching the new Doctor Who, I enjoyed it a lot! Hopefully the quality will stay this good the entire series. I am hoping the vampire one will be interesting, cos I'm really kind of sick to death of vampires at the moment. XD

It's getting to that time of year again when I want to watch Escaflowne. I have no idea why I've watched this anime so many times.

I was hoping to go watch The Losers today, but they pushed back the release date. At this rate, I'll probably end up missing it so I think I'm just going to wait for DVD and go see It's A Wonderful Afterlife instead in a couple of weeks.

I think that's enough randomness for today! Now, should I put myself through some more emotional torture and watch Up or go watch some Freakazoid instead...

It's been a while since I've made a proper post. Well, a while for me anyway, haha. Probably cos I've been going on the Internet less at work. (Cos 2pm keep making me laugh, but that's a different story for a different time!) Sorry if I haven't commented much on your journals f-list! It's mostly cos of the time difference. Nothing happens when I'm awake and there's like 40 entries when I wake up! Anyways, I thought I'd just do a small catch up on what I've been watching. Cos life is pretty much the same. Work, home, tv, funny random people and (expletive deleted) random people. I hate those last ones for all time!

This may get a bit long, I apologise! Warning: Much of me going all flaily over cuteness and cute guys, sorry. :P

J-Dramas, K-Dramas and One Piece. Brook! <3 )

Some pics and stuff follow this cut!

American TV shows: flashforward, Private Practice, How I Met Your Mother and Bones. )

And lastly...

Star Trek, comics, Doctor Who and random other things. )

Lol, okay, it's over! XD

Randomness!

Nov. 9th, 2009 04:45 pm

Through watching random videos on YouTube (all because of a gif of a Korean guy dancing to Single Ladies posted on arematheydidnt), I seem to have gotten kinda addicted to 2pm. Well, addicted’s a strong word but I’m interested at the moment. I find them more adorable than anything else, mostly cos they’re all very much younger than I am and they still all have baby faces making them look younger to me than they are…except the tall one whose name escapes me at the moment. Anyway, they’re funny. But I seem to have stepped into this fandom when there’s a hell of a lot of drama going on! ^_^() I’m not even into DBSK but apparently they got issues too! As usual, I’ve showed up to the party too late.

Speaking of showing up late, Pushing Daisies comic, where are you? I miss Emerson’s snark! :( The unthinkable has also happened, I seem to have gotten bored with Heroes! I stopped watching after the 3rd (I think?) episode I just can’t be bothered to watch the rest at the moment. Maybe when there’s a lull in one of the programs…or flashforward goes on a break. (I’m gonna be superficial and say I only started watching it for John Cho but it’s good so far. Don’t crap out on me later!) I dunno what’s up with TV these days, I can’t find a “my happy place” program. The thing that comes closest is Bones, which is kinda sad given that it’s a forensic crime show that focuses on murder and human remains. But Brennan and Booth are so cute, and the cast is so likable. Cam has been cracking me up so much lately!

Seeley Booth, stop being so bloody adorable! ;_; He's such a good dad, bless him! (In short, the new episode of Bones was good)

I've watched the first two episodes of Being Erica, they've started showing it over here, and Eric from Wonderfalls is in it!! Haven't seen him in anything for a while, he looks pretty much the same, just a little older. Sigh. I miss Wonderfalls! And on a Fullerverse related note, I've got about 4 episodes left of Pushing Daisies! ;_; I'm gonna need something extremely funny to watch after I watch that last episode so I'm not all WHY DAMMIT WHY when it ends.

I've started watching another Korean drama, this time it's My Girl. Yes, I know, I'm very behind but it's only my third one! The main girl is awesome! It's three for three so far on me liking the female leads! But also three for three on loathing the bitchassness that is the "other" girl. Anyhoo, Joo Yoo Rin is awesome and her karaoke scene was epic funny. XD I also finished Odoru Daisousasen. Best cop J-Drama I've seen so far! It was fun from start to finish, I can't wait to watch the movies.

This has been stuck in my head all day! Does anyone remember this cartoon? This and Jem were my Saturday shows once upon a time! Galaxy High too I think...

EDIT: Lastly, these will never not be funny. :)

I just sat back and watched a whole lot of TV today. XD Lazy yes, but I needed a day of rest.

Things I observed today.

1. Grey's Anatomy better have a whole lot of Bailey, Sloan and Lil Grey to keep me interested this season.

The rest under the cut. )

Ugly Betty needs to come back soon. Cos I'm gonna finish Pushing Daisies (;_; DO NOT WANT) and the only other place I'll find amusing snark is from Wilhelmina and Marc.

Seriously, Green Arrow was one of the things that made JLU so awesome, and almost made me forget that Flash wasn't in the first season. Almost, hehe. And this is one of the reasons why.

Ollie, ILUSM2U. XD

Also, wtf?! I leave the internet for a day and a half and SMAP's Tsuyoshi is arrested for running around nekkid?! And it's on MSN and BBC?! :O

EDIT: Oh, and also, the latest episode of Bones was so damn funny, I cracked up!

It was bugging me for AGES where I had seen Mr Nigel-Murray from Bones before, and I finally remembered watching the latest episode!

He was in this kid's program on the BBC in the late 90s called Microsoap. He was one of the main characters' step-brothers! I had a crush on him back in the day too, lol! No wonder his accent sounds so authentic. XD

I finally finished the Korean drama, Full House! I really need to stop watching more than 2 dramas at once, it's taking me ages to finish them! XD

I gotta say, I loved it a lot. It did start to drag a bit in the last four episodes, but I guess they had to fill the sixteen episode production order. But of course, if they had stopped four episodes short, we would've lost some really hilarious Young Jae moments. I don't know about you, but I love it when tall guys act stupid and dorky. It's so funny.

Okay, so the plot, courtesy of DramaWiki: Han Ji Eun is a naive writer who got swindled out of everything she owned including her house by her best friends. Stranded in China, She managed to borrow money from an actor Lee Young Jae to return to Korea. On her return, she found out that her house was bought by Lee Young Jae. In an attempt to get her possessions back, she entered in a contract marriage with Young Jae for one year. In spite of losing all, Ji Eun manages to be cheerful and takes things in strike and the business relationship between the two becomes personal as they start to rely and care for each other.

May I just say, Ji Eun is too nice of a person. Seriously. If my friends did that to me, I'd have shopped them to the police, no problem. Although, if Asian dramas have taught me anything, it's that I seem to not be a very forgiving person! XD (See Kurosagi, Love Revolution, Nobuta wo Produce...and a few more I can't remember now) Her friends were also SO DAMN ANNOYING! I could stand Dong Wook in small doses, but OMG I could strangle Hee Jin half the time! She didn't even feel guilty!

I'ma put the rest behind a cut, cos it contains spoilers and much ranting as usual. )

In short, I did like it and will probably watch it again! I am quite surprised, given that this show was such a ratings killer in Korea, that they haven't tried to make a Japanese version yet. There are remakes of K-Dramas and J-Dramas all over the place these days (with the Korean version of HYD having just being cast!). I can't think of anyone except Nagase Tomoya for Young Jae. XD

Also, I've been catching up on Bones. I MISS ZACK! ;_; Sweets is funny, but in small doses, but in no way does he replace Zack. AND WHY ANGELA AND HODGINS!? ;_; Not fair, not fair at all. I still love Seeley Booth, and he gets more awesome with each episode. "You can't date two guys at the same time Bones, it's not right. It's why they invented duelling." Heehee. He's adorkable, yet manly.

I've been trying to find a new cartoon to fill the Avatar void. *ala Fairly Odd Parents* NOTHING FILLS THE VOID! T_T I have been watching quite a bit of Phineas and Ferb, and it's actually quite funny! Very tongue in cheek. Anyone got any ideas on when Spectacular Spider-Man season 2 is gonna start up? Oh, and if you haven't watched Spectacular Spider-Man yet, GO DO IT NOW. Seriously. I'll wait. ^_^

Also, Sakurai Sho's new haircut? Hawtsome.

But I promise, any and all spoilers will be blacked out. ^_^ Or LJ-cut, whichever seems appropriate.

I have almost no idea what is going on with comics these days. With work taking up all my time (FREEDOM, COME BAAAAACK), I don't have time to browse through comic sites to see what's going on in comics I don't read. There's something going on in DC that I'm not really aware of. Is Kyle evil these days? There's another crisis? It doesn't help that I'm only reading three DC books on a regular basis (Detective Comics, Nightwing and Teen Titans). Even if I was buying all the books, I still wouldn't know what was happening in Marvel. Something to do with Skrulls and such. I'm not sure if Thor or Hulk have shown up to kick Tony Stark's ass yet. All I know is that no matter how hard I wish, Spidey's not gonna go back to how he used to be. Ultimate Spidey is all kinds of awesome though. ^_^

In regards to TV shows, with the shorter seasons this year, most of the shows I watch are starting to wrap up now. (UK is always insanely behind) Bones season finale. WTF?! Zack! ;_; I love Zack, why?! Why do the characters I love always leave? He's just so adorable, I felt so sorry for him. Now he gotta live in the nuthouse. :( And that stunt with Booth. Okay, I knew he wasn't dead. But I did the same thing with Veronica from Prison Break for weeks before I accepted she died. XD That said, Booth, please never stop being hawtsome. And Hodgins better stop being so cute, I can't afford to have yet another TV crush. It's gonna go into triple digits! Lost is also wrapping for us next Sunday, it's probably already aired in the US though. I really hope that nothing sinister happens to Jin and Desmond. I love them both. And I have a track record, bad things always happen to characters I like. Which is very annoying, as characters I hate never seem to disappear. EVER. Lana is still on Smallville dammit! And Michael Rosenbaum has left! YOU MUST BE JOKING IF YOU THINK I'M STILL WATCHING! .... Okay, I'll watch if Ollie comes back, haha.

Now for talk about JE and J-Dramas! )

As for anime, I've rewatched Escaflowne for the millionth time (and still get mad at the ending!), I've also watched Cromartie High School (CRACK!), Azumanga Daioh (Osaka and Yukari for the win) and am in the middle of rewatching School Rumble. Oh Harima, I feel for ya man. He is the definition of misunderstood. I'm probably gonna start watching Ouran Host Club again, as I'm missing Tamaki. XD I was thinking of watching Fullmetal Alchemist but I don't think I can go through all the heartbreak again. That show broke me, and now I cry at everything dammit.

Season 2 of Avatar was on earlier today, and dammit, IROH! ;_; He was cracking wise and talking about tea and being all awesome and I was like IROH! COME BAAAAACK!

YAY!
